From Our Chieftain

Sir Knights, 2019 will soon be upon us.  I am Sir Knight Douglas Studer Chieftain of the Knights of Saint Andrew, Valley of Anchorage.  2019 will be a special year for our Chapter for it was Chartered 10 years ago in November of 2009.

I am truly honored to be entrusted with a second opportunity to humbly serve my fellow Knights.  This year, I want to make the KSAs focus about Brotherhood.   The Knights of Saint Andrew is an internal service and support organization, creating many diverse opportunities to become a leader and an active participant.  Knights provide many different services to the Valley, as well as assisting with the Valley’s educational, ritualistic, social, fund-raising, and traditional programs. While enhancing a Mason’s moral character and positive work-ethic, the KSA continues to promote the Scottish Rite within Freemasonry.

The Knights welcome new Squires throughout the year and you are encouraged to contact the Chieftain or any member with a KSA tartan for more information. 

Now, I would be remiss if I didn’t thank the rest of the Anchorage Knights of Saint Andrew for your continued support and trust. To our Fellow Knights of Saint Andrew Chapters outside of Anchorage; especially the Valley of Juneau, I eagerly look forward to building a bigger, stronger relationship with each of you in this upcoming year.
